Got upgraded version of app. The voice translator is clear and easy to hear.

This app only provides basic translations. To enable the voice, speech and OCR, you need to pay $11.00 in add-ons! Other apps provide this for free. Include some basic functionality of these so that it can be tested in the free version. Agree with Morlaked, dont know how anyone could give it 5 stars honestly. There are other apps out there that provide OCR, voice, speech for free. Just do a search in the app store. There many other quality apps out there with better functionality included in their free version.

Paid 4 full upgrade and felt empty handed. Ui is kind of clunky. Wish it was more like Google translator as in switching back & forth between 2 languages. Why do I need a 4S for voice mike translator? Google translator has it available. I am working with an iPhone 4 btw. The best feature is the camera & photo function! Pretty cool! All in all average. Extensive use of the photo translation and speech while overseas on vacation. Great for clients with poor English skills. Far and away the best translation app Ive used. Intuitive, fast, accurate and a very good deal. Highly recommend!

To update my old version I had to delete it and install the new version from apps store (followed directions given in app description) and it loaded with no problem. Great new version of this app with a really cool negotiate feature on the iPad version. Best translation app available!

This is the best translation app out there. I am a doctor and use this app everyday to speak with patients who speak a foreign language. And used the photo translator in Italy and worked perfect!!!!! Thank you for this app

Havent successfully translated a single document. Complete waste of money.

Great new features like language reversal. Loved the negotiate mode on the iPad. Have never seen anything like it before. By far still the best translation app out there. Speech & photo pretty cool.

Dont bother unless you want to pay.

A best buy Great speech and photo recognition app. Audio output is clearer than any other translation app Ive tried. Got the best results with the camera function by shooting high contrast text in outdoor or bright indoor light. As a test I photographed in natural sunlight page of black on white text from a German book (almost 1000 characters a page) and it gave near perfect translation results every time. Incredible value. Highly recommend!!

Just as the title says this app is completely useless like its advertised as " free" but it makes you buy it for 4 dollars just to convert a document

I usually dont bother writing reviews, but this app does not work. I even bought the "pro" version hoping it would, but the positive reviews are obviously fake. It uses Google translate so just use that since the cool functions here, i.e. translating from camera, just dont work

So its an unremarkable translator for free. Use google. The photo option is why people get it but to do that YOU MUST PAY. another bait and switch.

Great idea for an app. Really all they are missing is a way for me to translate my dogs bark!

Id gladly pay if the app works but since every feature in the free version requires in app purchase, theres really no way I can find out if it would meet my requirements. Time to look elsewhere.

This app is amazing. I travel extensively and work with many different cultures. Definitely helps breaks the ice with clients and I can navigate through new territories more freely.
